Jackie from WGRD – Miss Portage 2011

Update: After this article was posted Jackie was crowned Miss Michigan Galaxy 2012.

It was my third time working with Jackie Green, WGRD’s best (and only, lol) female on air personality,  Miss Portage 2011,  a Ferris State grad, and a very nice and energetic young woman.  This time we got out of the downtown Grand Rapids area and hit a popular park in Ada Michigan at sunrise.   Well…soon after sunrise.  Sunrise is my favorite time to shoot.  The most magical light can be found at sunrise given the right location, and that time of day is so often missed because people don’t want to get out of bed.  Apparently Jackie was up for it because she didn’t flinch a bit when I mentioned a sunrise shoot.  A rarity!!!

We caught some gorgeous shots of beautiful Jackie modeling a little green shift from Flashbacks on Leonard along with another more flowy outfit.  Jackie is a natural model and I always enjoy working with her.

Getting to know her more, I’m discovering Jackie is much more then just a pretty face.  She’s very intelligent, responsible, and even though she has a fun, good natured personality it would be a mistake not to take her seriously.

So here she is…  Jackie Green!   Earthtones first media personality in the Spotlight.  Included are some photos from two other photo shoots we did in downtown Grand Rapids.  One with Jackie at the WGRD station and a photo shoot I did with the entire on air crew and some WGRD producers.
